The world feels like home today
Although family and friends are away,
The breeze in my ears
Rushes off as it whispers
The news of some imminent surprise
Hearing which emotions rise,
Like waves, in my heart.
As if towards some cherished
Destination, I dart,
As if a dream and reality
Are falling in love,
As if this moment
Is a blessing from above.
