Dad, I have nowhere to go.
I'm stranded
In a blizzard of frozen tears
In the chilly winter of lonely fears.
I see no light, no path,
No warm embrace.
Groping, I collapse
Into an agonizing haze.
My dearest, my family are distant
And loving friends flee
A deafening silence pervades
For a haunting eternity.

One day, having grown up, a bird flies away from its nest, now carries the security of the nest only in its Heart as it journeys forth into worlds known and unknown. Poet's experience is very real feeling of being ALONE cut off from environment. In such moments penetrating deep inside she could discover that through lonliness and silence perhaps she could enter a zone where suddenly she could be ONE with the world no longer ALONE.
That bond which lent her the security is an outer manifestation of the deeper bond inside she has to discover in which all outer bonds merge in a glory yet to be revealed to her and the world outside her.
